    Anime Video Room

There will be a dedicated room, showing the best Sci-Fi & Fantasy Japan has to offer.

    Film Room

In our film room, we will also be continuing Philcon's tradition of showing the odd, unusual, and the thought provoking. Several of the films will also feature a discussion group immediately following a presentation. We will also be having a film festival this year of independent artists.

    Gaming Room

Philcon Gaming isn’t just a place to hide out when the rest of the con closes! We’re doing so much that you’ll want to move in and never leave! The Camarilla will be coming to play tabletop games and get people interested in the new World of Darkness. Never seen it? Come give it a try! Ad Astra games will be showing off the new Saganami Island Tactical Simulator based on the famous Honor Harrington novels by our Principal Speaker! You came to see David Weber, now come see the tactical game based on his books! In addition to those highlights, we’ll be having tournaments, game demos and open gaming.

    Computer Game (LAN) Room

We are planning to have a LAN party gaming room near our main gaming room during most of the convention with some of the latest titles in the 1st person and C&C arenas!

    Room Parties

Many groups will often throw parties on convention nights that are open to the public. Look for signs around the hotel. The majority of these are being offered to promote some fan related activity, such as another convention. After eating their food, it is always considered polite to find out about what the party is being held to showcase and if interested, make sure to get some information.

To register a party at Philcon 2005, please see our Party Registration policy.
