Volunteering is an excellent way to meet people, become involved in the running of a convention, or just to work off the price of admission. Philcon offers admission rollovers after 10 hours of volunteer work.
Double time for set up and tear down of the Art Show. Show up Thursday before the con at the Adam's Mark and work for 2 hours (that's 4 hours worth of work!), then help out with the Art Show setup on Friday for 2 hours, (you're now up to 8!) Sunday after the auction work another hour and you are done! (10 hours!) You saw the whole con and lent us the helping hand we really needed!
